Jevon Crumley has been around horses his entire life. He started off breaking and training Quarter Horses and then took up training Thoroughbreds after he graduated from high school. Jevon went on to work as farm manager for Double D Farm Corp. in Medina, Ohio. Double D Farm was the breeding home for multiple G-1 stake winner: HARLAN'S HOLIDAY, Ohio's most accomplished buckeye-bred, and Jevon had the chance to work with him. Double D Farm gave Jevon a string of horses to train when he received his license in 2001. He collected his first win shortly thereafter with Miss Peach at Beulah Park and celebrated his first Stakes victory with Double Diva in the Emerald Necklace at Thistledown in 2005. He has proved himself to be, not only consistent, but competitive even up against the top trainer's in the country-stealing quite a few wins when Presque Isle Downs opened up in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Jevon has made a name for himself and is quickly becoming one of the most talented, young trainers in the northeast. This year alone he has finished among the top 3 trainers for the year at Thistledown and the top 15 for the opening meet at Presque Isle Downs. He currently races at Turfway Park in the winter, Keeneland in the spring and returns to Presque Isle and Thistledown in early summer.
